California Utility Electric Vehicle Incentive List
California Electric Vehicle Charging Station Incentives and Rebates
Read Time 16 mins | April 12, 2022 | Written by: Julia Segal

California electric vehicle charging station incentives and rebates have long led the country’s effort to push EV adoption. The state has one of the largest vehicle sales markets in the country. As part of their contribution to the Zero-Emission task force, they plan to reach a sales goal of 61% ZEV sold in the state by 2030. As of February 2022, they lead the whole country in the zero-emission vehicle market.
The California Air Resources Board is considering a substantial increase in electric vehicle requirements with a proposal, which is still under staff review, that would aim for 68% ZEVs of new vehicles in 2030, 76% in 2031, and 100% in 2035.
As a result, the list of California electric vehicle charging station incentives and rebates are the most comprehensive in the United States and are a huge contributor to the success of EV adoption so far.
Below is a compiled list of the both state and private EV charging station incentive and rebate programs in the state of California.
