Connecticut Electric Vehicle Charging Station Incentives

Connecticut electric vehicle charging station incentives as part of the state’s Zero Emission Vehicle plan and efforts towards installing EV charging infrastructure across the state, Connecticut has established the CT Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Program, a nine-year program for the purchase and installation of electric vehicle charging equipment. The Connecticut Green Bank offers Smart-E low-interest loans for the purchase of Level 2 EVSE and DCFC equipment. Learn more here

Plug-In Electric Vehicle (PEV) and EV Supply Equipment (EVSE) Rebates – Groton Utilities

Groton Utilities offers rebates of $600 for the installation of Level 2 EVSE. Learn more here

Plug-In Electric Vehicle (PEV) and EV Supply Equipment (EVSE) Rebates – Norwich Public Utilities

Norwich Public Utilities (NPU) offers rebates of $1,000 for residential Level 2 EVSE. For commercial Level 2 EVSE, $3,000 is available for workplace or multi-family charging and $4,000 is offered for publicly available locations. Learn more here.  

Residential Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Rebate – Eversource

Eversource offers residential customers rebates of $1,000 for the purchase and installation of select Level 2 Smart EV Chargers. Learn more here

Commercial Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Rebate – Eversource

Eversource offers its commercial customers rebates up to $20,000 for the purchase and installation of Level 2 EVSE for multifamily, public, and workplaces and up to $150,000 for DCFC. Learn more here.

United Illuminating offers rebates of up to $500 for Level 2 EVSE for residential customers. Learn more here.
