New Jersey EV Charging Station Incentives

The State of New Jersey EV charging station incentives and rebates are geared towards supporting the accelerating adoption of EVs. Sona Energy Solutions has compiled a list of the New Jersey EV charging station programs and details for each.
Residential Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Installation Rebate – PSE&G
PSE&G offers residential customers a rebate of up to $1,500 when they install a behind the meter Level 2 EVSE.
Commercial Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Installation Rebates – PSE&G
PSE&G offers commercial customers a rebate of $7,500 when they install a behind the meter Level 2 EVSE and up to $10,000 for a pole-to-meter Level 2 EVSE. For Public DC Fast EVSE, they offer $25,000 for the behind the meter rebate and up to $50,000 for pole-to-meter.
Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Rebates – Atlantic City Electric (ACE)
Atlantic City Electric offers make-ready rebates to their residential, multi-unit dwelling, commercial, and fleet customers for Level 2 EVSE and DC Fast EVSE installation. The rebate amounts are as follows:

ACE’s EVsmart programs provide rebates and incentives for the development of 3,250 EV charging ports in public spaces, businesses, and residences across South Jersey. The EV charging station incentives through these programs supports New Jersey’s efforts to prepare for the growing EV market and expand their clean electric transportation options for communities across their service area.
It Pay$ to Plug In
This program provides grants to offset the cost of purchasing electric vehicle charging stations including workplaces, public places, and multi-unit dwellings and expanding infrastructure for corridor and community charging. Applicants will be reimbursed up to $750 per Level 1 charging port and $4,000 per Level 2 charging port.
